I can’t find an attorney to represent me in a tenant vs. landlord case, where my landlord fraud me from $25k priorly proven upgrades in the rental property.
I don’t know what to do?
I have extensive lineup of of evidence proving her knowledge and her prior approval of all the upgrades as I was working on them over a period of two years in which she was present on the property so many times including, an email where she offered me to help me with as it was going on renovation.
Last week I confronted her with a serious issue was a septic tank, regarding which she has violated county codes for five years. To avoid replacing the septic tank which is what we’re supposed to be done since 2017, and In order for her to also walk away with $25,000 of upgrades into her property, she gave me 60-day notice with the pretense to sell the property.
She is counting on me not having money for attorneys which is not the case. But she is right that no Attorney out there wants to represent tenants who were victimized by their landlord. And that I will have a hard time winning against her. The system is rigged.
Some people say do use a paralegal to prepare the legal documents. I am not sure if this is possible. I can’t walk away and let the criminal continue to fraud innocent people. Is representing myself is a good decision a civil lawsuit?
Do I have better chances in a small court claim case than in a civil lawsuit?
