Did Shocking the well ruin my system?

Hi All, my family just bought a house. The water had Coliform bacteria, so we had someone shock the well. They needed me to do the last part so I read up about it online (FWIW). From what I can tell, the people who shocked the well did not do it quite right. Is there anything potentially wrong with my system based on what they did? Here's how they did it:

-They added the chemicals to the well (i wasnt with them while they did this step so not sure how they did it and if they used a hose to cycle it), then opened all the faucets in the house. And let them run for ~10-15minutes. (I DON'T THINK THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THIS, i think they were supposed to shut each faucet off once they smelled chlorine)

-They bypassed the filtration system that they had just installed, but after having the system running through it for a few minutes. in the basement they installed: an "atlas filtri" cartridge filter after the well pump, then a 4 foot tall filter tank, then a uv light. Ten at the kitchen sink they put an ecopure filter. (they didnt run the kitchen faucet as they ran all the others, but they did run it after all the others had run, but before flushing the system). (DID RUNNING THE CHLORINATED WATER THROUGH THE SYSTEM POTENTIALLY DAMAGE IT? ALL OF THIS LIKELY DRAINED TO MY SEPTIC SYSTEM, IS THAT A MAJOR PROBLEM?)?

-They instructed me to run an outside hose into well after 6-8 hours, let it run for 15 minutes, then run all the faucets in the house. THIS APPEARS TO BE WRONG, I haven't done this step yet, but it looks like I'm supposed to run the faucet to a drain rather than back in the well. This makes more sense to me. (HOW SHOULD I HANDLE THE LAST STEP OF FLUSHING THE SYSTEM?

Thanks in advanced from a new homeonwer.
