A short story in which I (18M) argue with my mom (56F) about what I’m going to do after high school

This story which was originally a series of arguments dissolving into shouting matches over a span of days has been paraphrased for your convenience. The core topics remain the same.

Me: “I don’t think I want to go to college. The only degrees I would have would be based on passions of mine that would probably result in me living in a studio apartment paycheck to paycheck once I graduate. I’m going to get an apprenticeship. I’m guaranteed a pretty well paying job, I’m contributing to society, and I can work with my hands.”

Mom: “No. You’re going to college because thats what youre supposes to do. Trades are for low class idiots with no college education.”

Me: “Well it’s not like I want to clean out people’s septic tanks. The thing about this country now is that you don’t actually need a college education to have a stable income anymore. It’s actually kind of an antiquated system.”

Mom: “No, you are getting a college education because that’s the ‘minimum in life’ (completely ignoring what I just said)”

Me: “Alright fine, I guess I’ll join the military then because I don’t want to have to deal with going to sleep every night wondering if I’ll have a stable income. That’s always been something I’ve considered anyway.

Mom: “No, the military is for uneducated idiots (see a pattern?). They’re also responsible for the butchering of my people. (Nevermind that if we’re going by your logic, “your people” are also responsible for the butchering of thousands of chinese, korean, and countless other southeast asian’s people. Every major country, except maybe Tibet is responsible for the butchering of at least 1 other group of people.) You are getting a college degree, or I am kicking you out of the house.”

Me: Fine, what kind of college degree?

Mom: Any one. You just need a diploma.

Me: Alright, cool. I’ll do the ROTC then.

Mom: confused screaming

Hello. I have a question about septic systems that may seem naive so thank you for your patience. We moved out to Suffolk County from Nassau County and I'm getting familiar with the needs of maintaining our septic system. I've always lived in a house with a sewer connection and honestly never thought twice about the drain pipes. UK Property Law questions

Please could a UK Property Lawyer/Solicitor advise on what I need to ask for. We’ve got a septic tank in a property that we are buying that is jointly used and maintained by 2 neighbours as per their own conveyance. The seller whom we are buying from has lost the conveyance that proves we have any right to use the septic tank, even though it’s on our land. Our solicitor says they aren’t experts in this area but at present it shows that we would have no right to use this septic tank, it’s plumbing, and therefore when it comes to replacing it (which is required immediately due to non-compliance) we wouldn’t be allowed to touch it. Our solicitors advise we need to find another solicitors who is knowledgeable in this area and can create a “deed of grant” to allow us to use it - but I cannot find any solicitors on Google in the UK that provide these services. Is my solicitor correct, is it a “deed of grant” or does it go by another name or do I need something else? Location: south east...
