No dad, but there’s replacements
I had a plumbing issue a few days ago where my toilet and tub was backed up in one bathroom and started flooding. My biological father is literally living in front me. No help from him whatsoever. My twin, who’s a plumber two states away, came yesterday to fix the issue for me so I wouldn’t have to hand out a lot of money. Dude fixed what he could, paid to have the septic tank pumped out and coming again in two weeks to finish the job. I feel bad that he came all this way (even though I know he doesn’t mind) cause like I mentioned before our sperm donor is literally across the street and didn’t give a fuck.
Today, I was on my way to see my boyfriend so he could take a look a my cars tire and on the way got a flat and busted the drivers side tire all up. Luckily, I was right down the street from his parents house. He called them (he was still at work) and they came. He’s dad changed the spare out and and just bought me a new tire to put back on.
These guys didn’t have to do this. They didn’t have to spend that money or time on me, but I am so thankful they did. I truly appreciate each and every one of them. More of a dad than I’ve ever had. I could cry for how grateful I am. I can’t, hate crying in front of people too. But I sure can tell them how much I appreciate it. Cause to me, they were dad for a minute.
